ABOUT WILLIAM
William King was born and raised in Boston, where his parents instilled in him the importance of hard work from an early age. He is a proud BPS graduate, attending Sumner Elementary School in Roslindale, the Lyndon School Middle School in West Roxbury, and graduating from Tech Boston.
Growing up, William was always driven towards giving back and began volunteering for local organizations and non-profits. Eventually, he joined his local neighborhood civic association, where he collaborated with other residents to better his community and advocate for residents.
Choosing to enter a career in public service, William went to work for the Boston Public School system, where he spent six years working Technology Specialist. After leaving BPS, William moved on to a local conservation non-profit where he currently serves as IT Director.
William decided to run for office because he believes the residents of District 6 deserve a City Councilor who is committed to fighting for them. If elected, he would bring the council's focus back where it should be, on constituent services, ensuring he is active and present in every part of the district fighting for the issues important to residents.
William currently lives in West Roxbury with his wife Domonique and their dog Brandy.
